Does the idea of a sunset wedding really warm your heart? I can understand why.
Everything about a sunset wedding is magical...the lighting, the backdrop and the stunning golden hour of a sky filled with gold, orange and red tones. Uber romantic! The lighting is especially flattering since it soft and glowing.
If you are planning a wedding during the "golden hour" I recommend that you allow at least an hour and a half before the sun sets. Once the sun sets it starts getting dark and the photographer usually will have to use the flash. I usually tell couples to allow 45 minutes from the time they arrive, get married and then the post-ceremony photo session begins. The last 30-45 minutes are the most magical.
It's important that you do not arrive late as this will only delay your post-ceremony photo shoot and you will get darker less flattering photos.
I hope this will be of help in planning your Santa Barbara sunset wedding Have a fun-tastic day!
